An earlier claim that this is 'the longest running open mic in Mobile' at 26 years could not be re-confirmed. A site search on the outlet that supposedly reported it turned up nothing matching [s2]. No Venue's Website exists to check. Day and time rest only on an open-mic listing site [s1].
Weekly on Thursdays, 7:00 PM. The Venue's Website has gone offline since we found this.
The official Mobile tourism board's own listing, checked Aug 14, 2026, shows this recurring weekly on Thursdays, with upcoming instances for Aug 21, 28, and Sept 4, 2026, still ahead of the check [s2]. The City of Mobile's calendar names the same host, 'Whipper Snapper Comedy' [s1]. A review-site fragment suggested a 'CLOSED' tag elsewhere, but that page couldn't be read, so it's an unresolved caveat only.
