Open Mics in Arcata, CA

Occasional (Thursdays).

The university's own student activities page, updated for the current Fall 2026 semester, still lists 'Open Mic' as one of its rotating Thursday-night themes (checked Sep 1, 2026) [s1]. How often the open-mic week specifically comes up, versus trivia, karaoke, or bingo weeks, isn't stated.

The sources disagree on the night.

Two local news sources describing this event were reread in full, but neither gives a specific date or says which Friday of the month it falls on, and neither could be confirmed as current. The venue's likely website address now belongs to an unrelated site, and an arts organization's page that might resolve this could not be reached. Whether the event runs the first or third Friday remains unresolved.
