Weekly on Mondays, 9:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
The Venue's Website was checked directly a second time and shows no mention of 'open mic' or 'Monday' anywhere in a full read of the page (checked Sep 1, 2026) [s1]. This is the strongest tier of negative evidence for currency, but the original claim was never corroborated by any other source, so it may be a listing-site error rather than a real event that stopped.
Every other Wednesday, 5:30 PM; which weeks is unclear. Only one source reports it.

A ticket page on eventbrite.com lists this night, but may not be current.
The host's own ticketing page lists this open mic on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday (checked Sep 2026) [s1]. That supersedes older Friday claims from an open-mic listing site and a 2024 poetry directory. The series is marked 'completed' after its last date, Dec 10, 2025, with no later date found, so it may have moved off ticketing or may have stopped.
The venue's own current shows page, checked Sept 1, 2026, lists 'Tuesday 9pm: Open Mic - Music & Comedy' [s1]. A ticketing site's listing gives a slightly earlier start time of 8:30 PM, but the venue's own page is treated as the stronger source.
The second Wednesday of each month, 6:30 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
The only source naming this poetry series is a curated local directory last confirmed updated in April 2024 [s1]. The venue's own current shows page, fully read, lists a Tuesday music/comedy mic, Tuesday trivia, and Wednesday karaoke, but never this poetry series, though that alone doesn't prove the series ended [s2].
A 2020 event listing for a one-off 'Gay Open Mic Night' here welcomed musicians, comedians, magicians and poets; unclear if that's the same recurring Wednesday mic.
The Venue's Website lists this night, but may not be current.
Weekly on Wednesdays, 7:30 PM. Only one source reports it.
The venue's own domain (re-checked Sep 1, 2026) is confirmed to be an unlaunched website-builder placeholder page, so no evidence can be obtained from the Venue's Website this way [s1]. Descriptions of the venue's actual weekly programming -- karaoke and drag shows -- do not include an open mic, and no source of any kind confirms this event exists.
The Venue's Website lists this night, but may not be current.
Weekly on Tuesdays, 6:30 PM. Only one source reports it.
The club's own Long Beach page, fully read, confirms an 'Open Mic' program is offered at this location, but states no day, time, or upcoming instance (checked Sep 2026) [s1]. The event's existence here is now confirmed on the venue's own page; its current schedule is not.
The Venue's Website lists this night, but may not be current.
Weekly on Thursdays, 7:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
The venue's own ticket page for this Comedy Mic is still online, though no specific date could be found on it (checked Sep 1, 2026) [s1]. A separate check of the Venue's Website found no usable text at all, so it cannot confirm or rule out the event (checked Sep 7, 2026) [s2]. Whether the Thursday 7 PM show is still running is unknown.
A listing on badslava.com lists this night, but may not be current.
Weekly on Tuesdays, 8:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
The Venue's Website failed to connect on separate attempts (checked through Sep 2026), a persistent problem rather than a one-time block, but an unreadable site provides no evidence either way. No source corroborates a Tuesday open mic, and unverified results describe the venue as closed on Tuesdays, offering live music only on Fridays and Saturdays instead.
Every other Friday, 5:00 PM; which weeks is unclear. Only one source reports it.

The sources disagree about whether it still runs.
The only dated instance of this event comes from an arts council event page dated Oct 11, 2024 [s1]. That is about two years old, so it does not by itself show the event is still running. The same arts council's current open-mic calendar (checked Sep 1, 2026) lists other current September/October 2026 shows but not this venue [s2]. This lowers confidence without proving the event has ended.
A listing on badslava.com lists this night, but may not be current.
Weekly on Thursdays, 10:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
The venue's own events page remains unreadable, appearing as an empty shell rather than a usable page (as of Sep 2026). No source confirms or denies this event.
Weekly on Tuesdays, 8:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
The venue's own location page (checked Sep 1, 2026) describes no evening entertainment programming of any kind, let alone an open mic [s1]. This is a soul-food restaurant chain outlet, an unusual host for a recurring music open mic, and no other source corroborates the claim -- though a restaurant page not listing entertainment is not itself proof nothing happens there.
The Venue's Website, checked Sept 1, 2026, currently states 'MONDAY — Open Mic Night' in its programming listing [s1]. Exact start time and format are not given on the page, and a local news article that might have clarified them could not be reached, so confidence is medium.
A page on communitylit.org lists this night, but may not be current.
Weekly on Saturdays, 8:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
The only descriptions of a current weekly schedule trace to an April 2024 curated directory and a rolling listing site (as of Sep 2026). A separate organization's event page was checked directly, but its listed instance is a single closed 2020 registration, no help for currency [s1]. The Venue's Website remains blocked on a third attempt, so its silence or confirmation still can't be assessed.
Weekly on Thursdays, 7:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
The Venue's Website, checked Sep 1, 2026, did not show enough readable text to confirm or rule out an open mic [s1]. Descriptions elsewhere describe a curated Saturday jazz residency at this venue instead. Absence on the Venue's Website does not prove the event never existed, but nothing positively confirms it either.
A listing on badslava.com lists this night, but may not be current.
Weekly on Thursdays, 8:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
The Venue's Website confirms it runs frequent programming but names no specific recurring event (as of Sep 2026). A social-media account named for the event could not be found, leaving an unresolved contradiction between a weekly-music claim and a monthly-comedy claim from different sources.
A listing on badslava.com lists this night, but may not be current.
Weekly on Thursdays, 9:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
No source of any kind, listing site or independent, specifically confirms or denies a recurring open mic at The Hawk (as of Sep 2026), and no Venue's Website exists to check.
Both sources give the same night and time, but neither confirms recent activity.
The venue's own events page, checked again, still shows the post describing this poetry night dated Mar 9, 2020, with a site footer copyright reading 2020, suggesting no substantive update since [s1]. The only other source is an April 2024 directory listing; no source found establishes the series is still running in 2026, though nothing states it was discontinued.

Weekly on Wednesdays, 8:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
The Venue's Website (checked Sep 1, 2026) was fully read and makes no mention of an open mic anywhere [s1]. The original listing site that reported this event also contradicts itself internally about whether it runs Wednesday or Thursday, and no other source corroborates either day.
