Open Mics in San Rafael, CA

The sources disagree about whether it still runs.

This venue is still absent from an open-mic listing site (re-checked Sep 1, 2026), though that directory may not be comprehensive here [s1]. Another comedy calendar site (re-checked Aug 31, 2026) does not list this venue [s2]. It had appeared there in an earlier sighting, which may reflect a rolling time window rather than an actual closure. Two similarly-named, unrelated businesses nearby made the address unconfirmable.

As of Sep 1, 2026, an open-mic listing site's map shows this roving series with a genuinely upcoming Thursday date, matching a last-Thursday-monthly pattern [s1]. The current host Venue's Website names this event in an upcoming-shows section, a venue-confirmed signal that the series is genuinely scheduled there [s2].

The second Thursday of each month, 7:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.

An open-mic listing site's map shows an upcoming event matching the venue's second-Thursday pattern (checked Sep 1, 2026) [s1]. The venue's own homepage, fully checked, contains no mention of 'open mic' or 'Songwriters' — the only 'Thursday' match was restaurant hours, not event content — and a dedicated events page could not be reached [s2]. An attempt to confirm this through a songwriters' organization was blocked.
