Open Mics in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Weekly on Sundays, 8:00 PM. Only one source reports it.

An open-mic listing site, updated Jul 18, 2026, lists an open mic at 511 Bar & Lounge with signups at 7 PM and the mic running 8 to 11:30 PM (checked Aug 14, 2026) [s1].

The Venue's Website suggests it may have ended.

The fourth Tuesday of each month, 6:30 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.

The venue's own homepage, fully checked Aug 14, 2026, does not mention 'open mic,' 'poetry,' or 'spoken word' anywhere [s1]. A guessed events-page address gave a not-found error, so the venue's real events calendar could not be checked. The event type here was only ever inferred from the kind of venue this is, not confirmed.

The sources disagree about whether it still runs.

The only closure evidence is a review site's page titled 'closed,' an update stamp rather than a closure date, naming a different same-name location. The Venue's Website still lists this address, hours and phone number, with no closure notice (checked Sep 7, 2026) [s2]. A full read of the Venue's Website on Aug 14, 2026 made no mention of a Thursday 7:00 PM music open mic [s1]. Whether the cafe is still open is unknown.

A listing on sffolk.org lists this event, but may not be current.

An open-mic listing site, updated Jul 18, 2026, still carries its own caveat next to this listing reading '(not sure if this is happening)' [s1]. That uncertainty is carried forward as genuine, not treated as a confirmation.

A page on fishlivemusic.com suggests it may have ended.

The Venue's Website (now redirecting to a different domain) was fully checked on Aug 14, 2026 and does not mention an open mic anywhere on the homepage [s1]. A guessed events page gave a not-found error.

The second Monday of each month, 6:00 PM. Only one source reports it.

An open-mic listing site, updated Jul 18, 2026, lists the Florida Ukulele Network jam as the 2nd Monday of the month, 6 to 7:30 PM, at the Broward County Main Library (checked Aug 14, 2026) [s1].
