The Matchbox

The sources disagree about whether it still runs.

The venue's own current events page doesn't mention an open mic anywhere (checked Aug 15, 2026) [s1]. The only descriptive source found is a news review of a 'Matchbox Open Mic Comedy Night' from May 2018, eight years old, describing a comedy format [s2]. This listing gives the type as music, which doesn't match. No current confirmation of a Sunday open mic, of any type, was found.
