Monthly, but no source gives the night. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
Call to confirm the night
The sources disagree about whether it still runs.
A news article about this poetry event, 'Fort City Slam,' is dated Nov 1, 2024 [s1]. That is nearly two years old, and it is the only dated instance ever found; no recurring cadence has been confirmed. The museum's own current homepage, checked Aug 14, 2026, covering 2026 programming in detail, makes no mention of it [s2]. Another web claim of a monthly 'first Friday' schedule couldn't be traced to any real page and wasn't adopted.
