Lockwood Cafe
Thursday or Tuesday · 8 PM
A news read on 2026-09-25 disagrees with the Thursday night here: iowastatedaily.com (2022-02-13) says weekly open mic on Tuesdays; this record lists Thursday. Which is current is unresolved — check before travelling. Something about this has changed recently — confirm before going.
Call to confirm the night
The sources disagree on the night.
No readable source could confirm or refute this Thursday, monthly open mic (checked Aug 14, 2026). An unverified claim describing a different weekly Tuesday schedule plus a monthly poetry slam could not be traced to any readable page, so it was not adopted; the originally recorded Thursday, monthly detail stands.
