Michigan Institute for Contemporary Art (MICA Gallery)
Night and frequency are unclear — no source gives either. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
Call to confirm the night
The sources disagree about whether it still runs.
The Michigan Institute for Contemporary Art's own events page makes no mention of an open mic or 'Burning' (checked Aug 2026) [s1]. A separate page describing the gallery's annual Valentine's-season poetry night — in its '21st annual' edition — now shows an error. An archive shows that page was still live as recently as January 2025 [s2]. A listing site's claim of a weekly Sunday poetry mic remains uncorroborated by any source found.
