Both sources give the same night and time, but neither confirms recent activity.
A state tourism site confirms the historic King Edward Hotel building now operates as the Hilton Garden Inn Jackson Downtown, with an on-site King Edward Grille and Bar (checked Aug 14, 2026) [s1]. Other sources agree that 'The King Edward Hotel' no longer exists as a standalone business. The hotel chain's own dining page could not be reached, and no source confirms an open mic under either name.
