Local press covered an open mic held at the library as a 'poetry social'; unclear if that is this recurring Saturday night or a one-off tied to Poetry Month.

Call to confirm current schedule
Both sources give the same night and time, but neither confirms recent activity.
The library's website never surfaces a programs or events calendar at all, showing only board minutes and government links, so its silence about a Saturday open mic does not confirm or rule it out (checked Sep 7, 2026) [s1].
