A news article on patch.com lists this event, but may not be current.
As of Sep 1, 2026, a local news article from Jan 22, 2021 remains the background source establishing this as a real, long-running civic series [s1]. Two leads were re-tried: a newspaper article was blocked, and the city's program page gave an error. No new source was found. The event's existence is plausible, but its current day, time, and frequency can't be confirmed from any currently readable source.
