Night and frequency are unclear — no source gives either. Only one source reports it.
Call to confirm the night
A listing on badslava.com lists this event, but may not be current.
McCarthy's Tavern has no known website. The only source describes comedy shows and open mics happening 'twice a week' without naming specific days or times, so the day is left blank rather than guessed; no sign of cancellation was found either (checked Aug 13, 2026).
Weekly on Wednesdays, 9:30 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
The venue's own event page describes this open mic in evergreen 'every Wednesday night' terms, but its own page metadata shows it has not been technically updated since 2019, about seven years ago [s1]. The venue's home page, checked Aug 13, 2026, is current but does not mention the mic [s2]. There is no evidence it has been cancelled.
A page on x-pub.bartgrocerybbq.com suggests it may have ended.
The venue's current website — now under a different name, 'Bart Grocery BBQ' — does not mention an open mic anywhere [s1]. An open-mic listing site names this venue for both a Monday and a Tuesday slot at 8pm, which reads as an inconsistency in that listing rather than genuinely separate nights; no source confirms an open mic here under either day, so the day is left blank rather than guessed (checked Aug 13, 2026).
