An open-mic listing site describes this as a weekly Sunday music open mic named 'Tongue and Groove' [s1]. Tongue & Groove is actually an event at VAE Raleigh, held the second Sunday of each month, open to all genres: poetry, music, storytelling, and dance [s4]. This is monthly, not weekly as originally listed. A public Meetup listing shows occurrences on the second Sunday of the month from May through December 2026 [s3].
Sources mention Thursdays but are not confirmed; actual night is unclear.

An open-mic listing site describes a Thursday comedy open mic at 7:30 PM here (checked Aug 14, 2026) [s1]. This is comedy, not music as the listed type states. A separately branded social media page for the event, 'Green Open Mic at Crafty,' exists, but it could not be loaded directly to confirm [s2]. No venue-owned website could be found.

Other sources describe Flying Saucer Raleigh's Monday night event as 'Cosmic Chuckles,' a stand-up comedy show with an open-mic segment for the audience — not a music open mic as the listed type states; the Monday day matches across sources. The parent chain's own venue page does not mention comedy and could not confirm the event is still current (checked Aug 14, 2026) [s3].

The venue's actual official website, not previously found, has an events page that does not mention an open mic (checked Aug 14, 2026) [s2]. Other, undated social media posts mention both a Monday, 7:30 PM open mic and a separate Friday, 8-11 PM open mic at the same venue — possibly two distinct events — but neither is confirmed on the venue's own current events page.
The venue's own calendar lists two 'Open Mic' events with real, current dates and times (checked Aug 14, 2026) [s2]. That calendar's grid does not display weekday names as plain text. An open-mic listing site gives the day as Tuesday and the time as 7:30 PM [s1]. Because of the calendar's formatting, that day and time were not confirmed there directly.
The venue's events page lists this night, but may not be current.
Weekly on Saturdays, 5:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
The venue's events page is a redirect stub that never actually reaches the Midtown location's calendar, so it cannot confirm or rule out a Saturday open mic there (checked Sep 7, 2026) [s2]. An open-mic listing site is the only source describing this event [s1].
A listing on badslava.com lists this night, but may not be current.
An open-mic listing site gives Monday, 8:00 PM for this open mic (checked Aug 14, 2026) [s1]. Another listing site categorizes it as a comedy open mic rather than music as originally listed, though that categorization could not be verified, and listing-site genre tags are known to be unreliable. No venue-owned website was located.

A historic-preservation source says the Prince Hall Masonic Temple building is now occupied by small businesses rather than run as a members-only lodge, though which tenant hosts the open mic is unclear. An open-mic listing site lists a Thursday music open mic here (checked Aug 13, 2026) [s1]. Another listing site instead describes it as a comedy venue, which may conflict with that, but the page could not be read to confirm directly.

An open-mic listing site lists a Tuesday music open mic at this venue (checked Aug 13, 2026) [s1]. A Facebook page, 'Ruckus Open Mics | Raleigh NC,' and a booking-site listing were found, but neither could be read to confirm the mic still runs (checked Aug 14, 2026). A same-named restaurant chain operating in Apex and Cary is a different business from this Raleigh venue.
A listing on badslava.com lists this night, but may not be current.
An open-mic listing site lists a Saturday music open mic at this venue (checked Aug 13, 2026) [s1]. Social media mentions an open mic here, 'w/ Brian Jones,' but the only dated mention is from 2021, about five years ago, so it does not show the mic still runs weekly (checked Aug 14, 2026). No website was found for the venue.

An open-mic listing site lists a Monday open mic at this venue [s1]. A Facebook event and another listing describe it running Monday 8-11 PM, though neither is dated recently. The Venue's Website is a contact-card page with no events content at all, so its silence about the event carries no weight (checked Sep 7, 2026) [s2].

An open-mic listing site lists a Thursday music open mic at this venue (checked Aug 13, 2026) [s1]. Thursdays are currently themed as an Amapiano, Afrobeats, Hip Hop, and Reggae night with no mention of an open mic (checked Aug 14, 2026). This may mean the Thursday slot has since been repurposed.
