Open Mics in Pittsburgh, PA

Occasional.

The Venue's Website's page for C4C: The Understory carries an image dated April 2026, consistent with a spring-semester open mic (checked Aug 13, 2026) [s1]. No newer instance is posted, but that is expected since the check fell during summer break, with no fall 2026 dates announced yet.

The sources disagree about whether it still runs.

Weekly on Wednesdays, 10:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.

A ticketing site's organizer page for Blue Lou's Comedy Club shows a scheduled show on Aug 19, 2026 (checked Aug 14, 2026) [s1]. A listing site's structured listing agrees on Wednesday [s2]. The Venue's Website confirms the address but does not mention this comedy night anywhere; its own page names only Thursday and is otherwise silent on entertainment types [s3].

The sources disagree on the night.

A comedy open-mic listing site lists this show as running on Tuesdays (checked Aug 14, 2026) [s1]. No other source gives Tuesday. The promoter's own ticketing-site profile does not mention Tuesday and lists no Tuesday show at this venue, only a Wednesday show here and an unrelated Friday show at a different Mario's location [s2]. The Venue's Website is also silent on it [s3]. Whether Tuesday is correct remains unconfirmed.

A page on pittsburghrunning.org lists this event, but may not be current.

Another website confirms 'The Pitch on Butler' is a real bar at 4717 Butler St in Lawrenceville, Pittsburgh, and says the Pittsburgh Poetry Collective runs a bimonthly slam there alongside its other programs (checked Aug 13, 2026) [s1]. No dated 2026 instance or Venue's Website could be found, and the poetry collective's own website is broken and never mentions 'the Pitch' in any readable content.

Both sources give the same night and time, but neither confirms recent activity.

The Venue's Website lists this night, but may not be current.
