Open Mics in Spearfish, SD

Both sources give the same night and time, but neither confirms recent activity.

A 2022 feature in 605 Magazine described a Monday-night open mic at Spearfish Public House, but that article is now more than four years old [s1]. A current Spearfish tourism board page lists a 'Pub House Open Mic' hosted by 'Senor Holtz,' describing a Monday-night schedule that runs year-round with seasonal variations, but the page has no date or update stamp, so it cannot confirm the listing is current on its own [s2].

The venue's events page lists this night, but may not be current.

Once a year, on a Friday. Only one source reports it.

The South Dakota State Poetry Society's own events calendar shows its 'Poetry on the Road' tour stopped at Spearfish Senior Center on March 13, 2026, but no future date has been announced for this venue (checked Aug 14, 2026) [s1]. The statewide tour itself continues, with confirmed stops elsewhere from May 2025 through April 2027 [s1].
