A Good Place for Music (the brand and DBA of Good Place for Music, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, EIN 41-2694067) (“AGPFM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website agoodplaceformusic.org. We collect only what we need to provide our services:
- Contact details — your name, email address, and phone number when you register a listing, contact us, become a member, or purchase a ticket.
- Artist listing information — performer name, bio, genres, instruments, links, and photos or media you choose to upload.
- Membership & donation records — membership tier, donation history, and event/ticket records.
- Payment information — card payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card number.
- Messages — the content of contact-form submissions and correspondence you send us.
- Technical data — basic log and session information needed to keep you signed in and to secure the site.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide our services: artist listings, event ticketing, memberships, livestreams, and donations.
- To verify your identity and keep your account secure (including one-time login codes).
- To respond to your inquiries and correction requests.
- To send Studio updates and event notifications you have opted in to receive.
- To process donations and payments.
- To comply with legal obligations.
SMS/Text Messaging & Mobile Data
When you provide your mobile number and opt in, A Good Place for Music sends text messages such as account verification (one-time login codes) and Studio updates & event notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information (including your phone number and SMS opt-in/consent) will be sold, rented, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with our SMS provider (Twilio) solely to deliver the messages you requested, and as required by law. Text-messaging opt-in data is not shared with any third parties for any purpose.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate the site, and only as needed to perform their service:
- Twilio — delivery of text messages.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — transactional email.
- Cloudinary — hosting of uploaded photos and media.
- Railway — website and database hosting.
