Open Mics in Culver City, CA

A page on storysaac.org lists this night, but may not be current.

Occasional (Sundays). Only one source reports it.

The Venue's Website, checked Aug 31, 2026, currently describes a 'Variety Night @ The Blue Door' on the last Monday of the month [s1]. An image file on the page suggests it was last updated around March 2026, within the window expected for a monthly event. A city events directory that might have offered a second check could not be reached this time, and no sign the event has ended was found.

An events listing site shows a dated 'Open Mic Revival' at Cinema Bar on Wednesday, Aug 19, 2026 at 7 PM, with the listing itself posted Aug 15, 2026 [s1]. This matches an older local news article about the same event, roughly three years old, though the venue's own homepage does not mention an open mic at all.

A page on robbreport.com suggests it may have ended.

A hospitality news article (checked Aug 31, 2026) confirms the hotel reopened in 2026 after a multi-year renovation with a new bistro/speakeasy concept, explaining an out-of-date 'closed' listing elsewhere [s1]. The hotel's own website could not be read. Every description found calls the live music a curated, booked lineup rather than an open-signup mic, so no source anywhere uses 'open mic' language for this venue.

A listing on badslava.com lists this event, but may not be current.

Checked Aug 31, 2026: no source confirms an open mic exists at this venue. The venue's posted hours (7 AM-5 PM on weekdays) conflict directly with any evening open mic claim, and that conflict was never resolved. A review site's search page for this area was blocked, and a directory listing was nearly empty, so neither confirms nor denies the event.
