Weekly on Thursdays, 9:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
The venue's own upcoming-events page (re-checked Sep 1, 2026) shows 'open mic' absent from this current, readable page [s1]. This matches an earlier finding. A fresh search found only Thursday drag and cabaret programming, with no source ever corroborating an open mic here. There's also no evidence this event was ever cancelled -- it may simply never have existed as described.
Monthly on a Wednesday, 8:00 PM; no source says which week. The Venue's Website does not mention it.

The sources disagree about whether it still runs.
The venue's own homepage, fully read, doesn't mention an open mic (checked Aug 31, 2026) [s1]. Its own ticketing organizer page, also fully read, doesn't mention one either [s2]. No other source anywhere was found describing an open mic at this venue.
As of Sept 5, 2026, this Monday 7:30 PM mic at 7456 Melrose Ave is running: the operator's own sign-up board shows open slots for Sept 7, 2026, $5 for 5 minutes [s2]. A comedy listing site's calendar lists dated Monday events here through Sept 23 [s3]. A 'permanently closed' tag online names a former tenant at this address, not this room. The same listing site's own post dates that tenant's closing party to 2023 [s5].
Weekly on Thursdays, 7:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
An open-mic listing site claims a standing weekly Thursday open mic. The venue's own social media does not mention it. A bar profile in an entertainment guide is also silent (checked Sep 1, 2026) [s2]. A hip-hop events site lists an 'Open Mic/Open Aux' night hosted by a named artist, with no date and no sign it recurs [s1]. That may be a different kind of night than a live-performance open mic.
Weekly on Mondays, 7:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
A comedy listing site's calendar, checked Aug 31, 2026 (a Monday), shows a dated 'Boom Mic' entry at this venue for that same day, 6:30-9:00 PM [s1]. This is close to, though not identical to, a 7:00 PM start time shown before, and confirms Monday as the correct day.
A listing site read on 2026-09-25 disagrees with the Sunday night here: openmicla.net lists Monday 9-11 PM, record has Sunday. Which is current is unresolved — check before travelling. Something about this has changed recently — confirm before going.

The Venue's Website gave an access error on every attempt, and an archived-copy lookup timed out repeatedly, so neither could be read (checked Aug 31, 2026). The only support remains undated secondary listings naming a Sunday 10:00 PM singer open mic hosted by Sean. A separately hosted comedy open mic in the same room is a distinct, unresolved lead.
A Venue's Website read on 2026-09-25 disagrees with the Wednesday night here: chevaliersbooks.com/events shows a Sunday 9/6/2026 poetry open mic, record has Wednesday. Which is current is unresolved — check before travelling. Something about this has changed recently — confirm before going.

The Venue's Website and the only independent local news source found were both blocked on every path attempted (checked Aug 31, 2026). A search surfaced a plausible 'Comedy Story Telling, Wednesday, August 27' detail, but with no year stated and no source that could be directly checked, so it wasn't treated as fact; no dated signal, positive or negative, could be obtained.
A page on onthegrid.city lists this night, but may not be current.
Weekly on Tuesdays, 9:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
A neutral third-party listings page (checked Sep 1, 2026) confirms the venue's actual current Tuesday program is 'Two Step Tuesday,' a live classic-country band -- a booked act, not an open-signup mic [s1]. No source, past or current, corroborates an open mic here on any night, though it may be a miscategorized booked show rather than a cancelled one.
A page on losangelesmusic.io suggests it may have ended.
Recent listings, dated as late as August 2026, confirm Crawford's is currently open, so an earlier 'permanently closed' tag elsewhere was stale (checked Aug 31, 2026). The open mic itself, though, has no confirmation elsewhere: a comprehensive Los Angeles open-mic directory, fully read, doesn't mention this venue at all [s1]. The venue also has no website of its own to check.
The venue's own Tuesdays events page, checked Sept 1, 2026, still reads 'every tuesday' with a 9pm-11pm time [s1]. This matches the previously listed Tuesday 9 PM schedule exactly.
Sources mention Fridays but are not confirmed; actual night is unclear. Only one source reports it.

A comedy listing site describes a recurring show at the venue's Backroom space on roughly a first-Friday-monthly schedule, with sign-up at 7:45 PM and the show at 8 PM, but that detail could not be confirmed by loading the page directly. A page for the venue that did load, dated Oct 4, 2025, instead describes a Saturday show [s1]. The show's description also doesn't read as an open-signup mic [s1].
Both sources list this event, but neither confirms recent activity.
The Venue's Website (checked Aug 31, 2026) confirms a nightly, hourly comedy open-mic schedule [s1]. A comedy listing site's calendar shows multiple named, timed slots -- including an 11am-1pm block and a 'Writers Room Mic' at 8-9pm -- running on Aug 31 and again the following day, Sept 1, 2026, confirming these are real day-to-day listings rather than a single repeated date [s2].
Weekly on Thursdays, 8:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
Other sources describe 'MIDTONES,' a jam session, as this venue's actual recurring event. The venue's own calendar (checked Aug 31, 2026) was fully read: it does not appear there [s1]. Its homepage was also fully read: 'poet' does not appear anywhere on it [s2]. Other information about the venue described only a live-music and DJ nightclub, and no source corroborates the claimed weekly Thursday 8 PM poetry open mic.
Weekly, but no source gives the night. The Venue's Website does not mention it.

The venue's own homepage could not be reached, so it neither confirms nor rules out an open mic (checked Aug 31, 2026) [s1]. A comedy industry directory's structured venue map has no entry for this club, mentioning it only in passing text. The only support for this event is an undated listing naming a 'Happy Hour Open Mic.'
A page on losangelesmusic.io lists this night, but may not be current.
A curated music directory (checked Aug 31, 2026) tags this venue's event as an 'Artist Showcase,' distinct from the 'Open Mic' tag it applies to confirmed open mics elsewhere [s1]. The venue's own homepage is minimal and does not mention the event by its claimed name. Whether this event even qualifies as an open mic is unresolved, regardless of whether it currently runs.
The Venue's Website (a Google Sites page) was checked on Aug 31, 2026, with 'open mic' absent [s1]. It was checked again on Sep 5, 2026, also absent [s2]. On a third attempt that same day it redirected to a sign-in wall instead of opening [s3]. This undercuts the earlier readable versions as a stable negative. Other information describes this venue as a DJ/EDM 'ultra lounge.'
Sources mention Thursdays but are not confirmed; actual night is unclear.

No dated signal for this Thursday cypher could be found (checked Sep 1, 2026). The venue's own live site is unreadable. An archived copy is the same [s1]. Its social pages could not be read. A social post corroborates the address but gives an every-third-Thursday cadence [s3]. That conflicts with the weekly schedule claimed here. The venue's ticketing page is active in Sep 2026, via a different program [s2].
Weekly on Mondays, 7:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
A comedy listing site's calendar, checked Aug 31, 2026 (a Monday), shows a dated open-mic entry at this venue for that same day, 7:00-9:00 PM [s1]. This establishes Monday as the day, which had previously been undetermined. The Venue's Website could not be reached to confirm this, so confidence is medium.
The Venue's Website lists this night, but may not be current.
Weekly on Tuesdays, 4:30 PM. Only one source reports it.
The chain's own homepage carries an 'Open Mic' navigation item, confirming it actively promotes an open-mic program sitewide (checked Aug 31, 2026) [s1]. A guessed dedicated page for the program gave a soft error with no real content, despite loading. No dated confirmation of the specific Tuesday 4:30 PM slot at this location was found. The only support remains an undated curated listing naming a specific host.
A comedy listing site's calendar, checked Aug 31, 2026 (a Monday), shows a dated open-mic entry here for that same day, 9:00-11:00 PM [s1]. This confirms Monday for the venue's 9 PM-named mic, but the venue is known to run a second, separate noon mic whose day is still not confirmed.
The library's own branch page, checked Sept 1, 2026, confirms a weekly Wednesday Stand Up Comedy Open Mic in the present tense [s1]. A curated comedy open-mic list, updated Aug 26, 2026, confirms the venue and a 5:45 PM start time [s2].

The pub's own homepage, fully read and checked for both 'comedy' and 'open mic,' contains neither term (checked Aug 31, 2026) [s1]. It doesn't appear on a comedy organization's structured venue map; the only support remains an undated curated listing naming a specific mic and host, so a live-music venue's homepage simply not listing every program remains possible.
Weekly on Mondays, 6:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
A comedy listing site's calendar, checked Aug 31, 2026 (a Monday), again shows the 'Skin Tag Open Mic' entry at this venue for that same day, 6:00-7:30 PM [s1]. This matches an earlier finding exactly, confirming the listing is current rather than stale.
A previously cited social media post could not be reproduced (checked Sep 1, 2026) and is not counted as a source. In its place, a curated Los Angeles comedy open-mic list, last updated Aug 26, 2026, lists 'Sabine's Mic' at this venue for 6:30 PM [s1]. A news article from Apr 14, 2025 names the host, Sabine Pfund, and quotes a flyer for the same Sunday 6:30 PM open mic, though that article is now about 17 months old [s2].
The venue's own dedicated Open Mic Music page states, in present tense, 'Mondays @ 7PM,' with $5 entry plus $5 per song, all genres [s2]. The venue's own general events page was directly confirmed to still list recurring weekly programming [s1]. A separate comedy guide listing names a same-time, differently formatted event here, and both descriptions are reported without being resolved to one.
A source calls it "bimonthly" — which may mean twice a month or every other month — on a Friday. The Venue's Website does not mention it.

The venue's events page suggests it may have ended.
The Venue's Website (checked Aug 31, 2026) turned out to be an unreadable JavaScript application -- its raw content literally reads 'You need to enable JavaScript to run this website' -- so nothing was actually served [s1]. An earlier claim that this page was read and found no mention of poetry or an open mic is therefore invalid. Attempts to corroborate a reported bi-monthly Friday poetry series were blocked.
Night and frequency are unclear — no source gives either.

Two dated installments of this roving poetry series were found. One is described on a webpage, dated Feb 21, 2025 [s1]. The other is on a ticketing listing, dated Fri, Feb 6, 2026, 6:30-8:30 PM, explicitly billed as the series' first 2026 installment [s2]. That confirms it was still running about seven months before Sep 1, 2026. No single venue, day, or time can be given because the series has none.

The venue's own 2026 calendar, checked Sept 1, 2026, lists seven monthly Open Mic dates from May through November, all confirmed to be genuine Sundays, with the next one on Sept 6, 2026 [s1]. The co-host organization's own site lists the same pairing [s2].
