A comedy-focused listing site's listing, last verified Jul 11, 2024 as weekly at 8 p.m., is now over two years old [s1]. The promoter's own website, checked Aug 14, 2026, makes no mention of this venue, Thursdays, or a current 2026 show anywhere, including its shows page [s2]. A magazine feature and a social-media post elsewhere still associate the two. Whether the relationship is still active is unresolved.
The Venue's Website lists this night, but may not be current.
Weekly on Tuesdays, 7:30 PM. Only one source reports it.
The venue's own full events page, checked Aug 14, 2026, lists only ‘Crescent Moon Nights’ -- a separately tracked Saturday open mic dated Aug 1, 2026 -- and no Tuesday event at all [s1]. This Tuesday listing came only from an open-mic listing site; it may simply be a day mix-up with the confirmed Saturday event rather than a second, distinct mic.
Weekly on Tuesdays, 8:00 PM. The Venue's Website has gone offline since we found this.
A comedy-focused listing site's listing, last verified Apr 1, 2026, about four and a half months before the check, describes a weekly show at 8:00 PM in Adams Morgan, run by a named comedy promoter [s1]. This is among the freshest listings found for the city.
A listing on dcstandup.com lists this night, but may not be current.
A comedy-focused listing site's listing, last verified Sep 20, 2023 as every other week at 10 p.m., is now about three years old [s1]. The Venue's Website does not mention an open mic anywhere. A similarly named open mic found nearby turned out to be at a different address under a different organizer, not this venue, so it does not corroborate it.

A listing on dcstandup.com lists this night, but may not be current.
A comedy-focused listing site's listing, last verified Apr 20, 2022, is now over four years old, describing a weekly 8 PM show [s1]. Nothing else confirms the named organizer still runs a current show at this venue.
The Venue's Website names this event 'The Artemis Spotlight - Open Mic Comedy' [s1]. A comedy-focused listing site, last verified Sep 17, 2025, about 11 months before this was checked, describes a weekly 8:00 PM show run by a named organizer [s2]. Confidence is moderate rather than high, since 11 months is near the edge of what counts as current for a weekly mic.
A Venue's Website read on 2026-09-25 disagrees with the Sunday night here: venue's own Poetry Series is monthly, curated (not open-mic), Sundays 3-5 PM, not the weekly 5 PM open mic on file. Which is current is unresolved — check before travelling. Something about this has changed recently — confirm before going.

Only an open-mic listing site names this event. The Venue's Website, fully readable, does not mention an open mic anywhere. That silence is not proof the event has ended, so this stays listed as unconfirmed rather than likely inactive.
A Venue's Website read on 2026-09-25 disagrees with the Tuesday night here: current site lists readings at Shaw's Tavern, no Colony Club events. Which is current is unresolved — check before travelling. Something about this has changed recently — confirm before going.

The web address listed here for this series is dead. Its real current address was found but could not be read (checked Aug 14, 2026). Other information describes the series as well-established, meeting the 1st Tuesday of the month with featured readers plus a short open mic, but no source found could be dated to 2025 or 2026. The one dated page located described a stale 2022 event at a different venue.
The theater's own events page, checked Aug 14, 2026, confirms a running 2026 schedule of StorySLAM events, most recently on Aug 6, 2026, eight days earlier [s1]. A concert promoter's listing for that Aug 6 date names it 'Schooled' [s2]. The storytelling organization's own event page confirms specific 2026 dates as well, including one from Jun 1, 2026 [s3]. Earlier dates in the confirmed 2026 run include Jan 12, Feb 5, and Mar 9.
The Venue's Website, checked Aug 14, 2026, explicitly reads ‘Tuesday Open Mic’ and describes it as a weekly open mic, naming the promoter and host [s1]. This confirms Tuesday as the correct day; an open-mic listing site's earlier claim of a Wednesday, 6:30 PM slot is treated as the mistaken outlier.
Weekly on Tuesdays. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
The Venue's Website remains unreachable. An open-mic listing site's DC calendar, checked Aug 14, 2026, still places this venue in the Tuesday slot [s1]. Its dedicated page for the event was last updated Dec 31, 2025 [s2]. A Wednesday piano program at the same address posted an announcement for Aug 19, 2026, confirming the venue is open [s3]. A separate claim that this venue closed in 2026 may be about a different place.
Weekly on Wednesdays, 7:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
A nonprofit piano program's own announcements page says a session runs upstairs at this venue on Wednesday, Aug 19, 2026, 7:00-10:30 PM (checked Aug 14, 2026) [s1]. The same page says the venue closes from Sunday, Aug 23 to Wednesday, Sep 8, 2026 for a foundation visit — a temporary break, not a closing [s1]. A separate claim that a venue of this name closed for good in 2026 may be stale or about a different place.
A review on yelp.com lists this night, but may not be current.
Weekly on Mondays, 6:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
The only listing for this event is an open-mic listing site whose page date cannot be trusted. A review site marks the venue 'Updated May 2026,' confirming it is active [s1]. Its current promotion is dominated by DJ nights and dance parties, with no current mention found of a Monday open mic with a live band. That specific format is not confirmed elsewhere.
Weekly on Saturdays, 8:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
A comedy-focused listing site's listing, last verified Jul 8, 2022 as weekly at 8 p.m., is over four years old [s2]. The promoter's own current show roster, checked Aug 14, 2026, lists this show as currently active [s1]. That is the same pattern that confirmed two of this promoter's other rooms.
This listing says Thursday; the sources behind it describe Friday or Wednesday instead. Only one source reports it.

A comedy-focused listing site's Thursday listing, last verified Jul 8, 2022, is stale [s2]. The promoter's own current show roster, checked Aug 14, 2026, confirms this Thursday show as active and distinct from separate Wednesday and Friday shows the same promoter runs at this venue [s1].
Weekly on Mondays, 7:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
A comedy-focused listing site's Monday index, checked Aug 14, 2026, lists other Monday venues but not this one [s1]. The show's promoter's own current roster, checked the same day, lists this venue's comedy nights as Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, not Monday [s2]. Neither source corroborates a Monday event, though this falls short of confirming the Monday mic has ended.
This listing says Wednesday; the sources behind it describe Friday or Thursday instead. Only one source reports it.

A comedy-focused listing site's Wednesday listing, last verified Jul 8, 2022 as weekly at 8 p.m., is over four years old [s2]. The promoter's own current show roster, checked Aug 14, 2026, lists this Wednesday show as a distinct active entry, separate from its Thursday and Friday shows at the same venue, rather than one event listed three times [s1].
