The sources disagree on the night.
The venue's own live calendar, checked Aug 15, 2026, lists a series titled 'Open Mic Mondays' with a matching Monday, Aug 17, 2026, 7:00-10:00 pm slot, plus a separate 'Karaoke Wednesday' instance Aug 19, 8:00-11:00 pm [s1]. A dated feature from the venue's May 4, 2026 opening placed the open mic on Tuesday, not Monday [s2]. The article and the calendar agree Wednesday is karaoke, so the mic's day appears to have shifted.
Weekly on Wednesdays, 7:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
The venue's own page lists only basic hours and amenities — Wednesday hours 5:30-9 pm — with no event listings of any kind (checked Aug 15, 2026) [s1]. Its social media profile is silent on an open mic too [s2]. An independent feature on the venue is silent on it as well [s3]. No other source corroborates the event either way.
Weekly on Wednesdays, 7:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
The venue's own August 2026 calendar explicitly shows zero events on every Wednesday that month, listing only films, concerts, a Tuesday hula program, and theater productions — no open mic anywhere (checked Aug 15, 2026) [s1]. A reference encyclopedia entry on the venue also does not mention an open mic [s2]. An open-mic listing site names this as an open mic [s3]. No other source ever did.
A public radio piece dated Jul 22, 2026 says the reopened venue runs monthly music and variety open mic nights [s1]. A local news outlet's July calendar, dated Jul 8, 2026, names 'karaoke, comedy, and musical open mic nights' that month [s2]. The venue's own social media shows no readable event details [s3]. The weekday is unconfirmed, and a recorded Wednesday 8 PM slot stays unverified.
Weekly on Tuesdays, 8:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
The Venue's Website makes no mention of an open mic, karaoke, comedy, or DJ nights (checked Aug 15, 2026) [s1]. That page shows too little text to reliably rule the mic out, so its silence is not proof either way. Its social media profile is silent too [s2]. An open-mic listing site names a Bacchus Waikiki comedy open mic, with no day or time given [s3]. Another listing site names it as a music open mic [s5].
Weekly on Wednesdays, 7:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
The Venue's Website contains no mention of 'open mic' or any weekday name (checked Aug 15, 2026) [s1]. The site carries little readable content, so this silence is weak evidence either way. Its social media profile is silent too [s2]. Nothing else confirms or denies the event.
Weekly on Sundays, 6:30 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
The venue's own homepage makes no mention of an open mic anywhere (checked Aug 15, 2026) [s1]. Its shows page is silent on this too [s2]. A reference source describes it as a 326-seat ticketed jazz club that has hosted headline touring acts since 2016 [s3]. That sits oddly with a free open-sign-up night. An open-mic listing site names this event [s4]. Nothing else confirms or refutes it.
The Venue's Website could not be reached, so nothing can be concluded from it (checked Aug 15, 2026) [s1]. A Chinatown venue directory is silent on any open mic [s2]. Another Chinatown venue directory is silent too, though as general venue listings rather than event listings this silence carries little weight [s3]. No press or other source confirms this Monday open mic, but no evidence of closure was found either.

A dated August 2026 nightlife listing states that Saturday nights (early) feature 'The Mars Comedy Club: 3-4 headlining comics followed by an open mic' [s1]. Another nightlife listing's May 2026 page gives the same description [s2]. Archived monthly listings for this venue going back to at least March 2023 show the same recurring format, indicating a long-running, stable weekly program.
The venue's own events page, checked Aug 15, 2026, lists twelve upcoming instances of 'Open Mic Night,' every Monday from Aug 17 through Nov 2, 2026, each with its own genuinely progressing date, and its description promises every performer a free drink [s1]. That matches an open-mic listing site's Monday 7:00 pm, weekly, free listing [s2].
Weekly on Tuesdays, 7:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
An open-mic listing site shows this as a 7:00 pm weekly Tuesday open mic [s2]. The venue's own homepage, checked Aug 15, 2026, is silent on both open mic and live music generally [s1]. That page carries little readable content, so its silence does not rule the mic out. A page whose web address names this exact event could not be read, so it remains one possible source rather than a confirmed one [s3].
Monthly on a Saturday, 7:00 PM; no source says which week.
Call ahead before you go
The venue's own dedicated open-mic page, checked Aug 15, 2026 and carrying a copyright footer through 2026, states the mic runs one Saturday a month, 7:00 PM-10:00 PM, with no specific upcoming instance shown, so this reads as a standing recurring-schedule statement rather than a per-instance calendar [s1]. Another listing confirms the venue's street address [s2]. No evidence of discontinuation was found anywhere.
Weekly on Thursdays, 9:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
The venue's own homepage makes no mention of an open mic, and 'Thursday' doesn't appear on it either (checked Aug 15, 2026) [s1]. Its events page is silent too [s2]. Its social media profile is silent too [s3]. A neighborhood venue directory is silent too [s4]. Another neighborhood directory is silent as well [s5]. No source confirms it's still running, but none shows it has ended either.

The venue markets itself as a concert and events hall and appears on major ticketing platforms as a bookable venue. An open-mic listing site names a Republik open mic but gives no day, time, or date [s3]. Another listing site names it too [s4].
Weekly on Sundays, 6:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
The venue's own homepage is silent on an open mic (checked Aug 15, 2026) [s1]. Its music page's dated calendar shows every Sunday slot for at least seven weeks filled by a named performer (Joe Kingston, 1:00-3:00 pm) plus a second booked slot at 8:00-10:00 pm, with no open mic listed [s2]. This looks like curated, booked entertainment rather than open sign-up, though it doesn't rule out an open mic existing elsewhere.
Weekly on Wednesdays, 8:30 PM. Only one source reports it.
The resident promoter's own events page lists genuinely distinct upcoming Wednesday instances on Aug 19 and Aug 26, 2026 [s1]. Its description says sign-ups start at 7 pm with the open mic for poetry beginning at 7:30 pm, $5 cover, matching the recorded address.
Weekly on Fridays, 6:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.

The venue's own homepage makes no mention of an open mic (checked Aug 15, 2026) [s1]. Its cafe page is silent too [s2]. A listing site names a Wednesday open mic [s4]. A 2016 magazine feature says the venue welcomed 'open mic sessions' but is too old to show current programming and names no Wednesday slot [s3]. A more concrete, undated description of a Wednesday open mic turned up for a different, nearby coffee shop, likely a mix-up.
The Venue's Website could not be reached (checked Aug 15, 2026) [s1]. Its social media profile is silent on an open mic [s2]. The only positive mention found anywhere is a single customer review from May 2022 describing a Monday-evening stand-up comedy open mic — more than four years old and a different type than the music open mic listed here.

The venue's own homepage, checked Aug 15, 2026, doesn't mention an open mic or Wednesday; it advertises karaoke Sunday-Thursday and a Thursday personality event instead [s1]. A dated event listing (Thursday, Jan 18) describes a different format: a five-minute comedy open mic before a paid, ticketed show, roughly the first and third Thursday [s2]. That's a different type, cost, and frequency than the free weekly music mic recorded here.
