Open Mics in Carbondale, IL

A page on thesouthern.com lists this event, but may not be current.

A local news site's own search, run Aug 14, 2026, surfaces only coverage from a 2019-2020 feature — including a Jan 30, 2020 article, 'How Tres Hombres' Open Mic gets it right' — with nothing dated to 2024, 2025, or 2026 [s1]. That absence of fresh coverage is a weak negative, since small-venue press often lapses even for ongoing events; the Venue's Website could not be checked, and no source states the mic has ended.
