A local news site shows a Mar 9, 2026 headline saying the cafe 'will close' [s1]. A separate report says that's wrong: founder Seth Hendershot sold the business to new owners on Mar 31, 2026, with no interruption in operation. Another news source agrees [s2]. The new website (checked Aug 14, 2026) confirms open mic remains part of its live-events programming but names no day, leaving Tuesday vs. a second Wednesday unresolved [s3].
