Hotel Edison

A ticketing site's event page for 'Let's Go Mental – A Free Open Mic' states it runs every Wednesday, 5:00-6:00 PM, in the Hotel Edison's Times Square lobby, free and PG-13, sign-in by 4:55 PM, capped at 10 comics, and hosted by GuberJokes and Stand Up NY rather than by the hotel [s1]. An open-mic listing site separately describes the same Wednesday, 5:00 PM, free.
