Call to confirm the night
The sources disagree on the night.
This is a real Salvation Army community center at 175 E 125th Street, a plausible host for a civic open mic (checked Aug 13, 2026) [s1]. No source -- its own site, local press, or a civic listing -- confirms a Monday open mic here specifically.
