Canton Brew Works' own website currently describes 'open mic comedy & live music in a chill taproom' [s1]. This corrects the genre from music, as an open-mic listing site had classified it, to comedy. The Friday, 8 PM timing comes from an open-mic listing site only and has not been confirmed, since the venue's own events calendar could not be read.

As of August 2026, The Village Theater at Cherry Hill is a 400-seat, municipally run venue whose own pages describe a curated calendar of concerts, stand-up, and touring or community theater [s1]. That is a booked house rather than a typical setting for an open-signup mic. Neither of the township's own pages for the theater mentions an open mic.
