Night and frequency are unclear — no source gives either. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
Call to confirm the night
The sources disagree about whether it still runs.
The library's own programs page does not mention this poetry night (checked Aug 15, 2026) [s1]. The calendar on the library's newer website is silent as well [s2]. Its event-booking system does not list it [s3]. The library still operates and runs other recurring programs, so this looks like a gap specific to this event rather than a closed venue.
The venue's own Events page, checked Aug 15, 2026, still describes the same Sunday open mic hosted by Dave Hampton, billed as the Rogue Valley's longest-running [s1]. A news article about the owner's death reports that the restaurant continues operating with the same goals and legacy [s3]. A review site's listing was updated as recently as August 2026, consistent with an operating business [s2].
A listing on laughspdx.com lists this night, but may not be current.
Weekly on Sundays, 9:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
A comedy listing site's event page, checked Aug 15, 2026, shows a upcoming instance for the coming Sunday, Aug 16, 2026, with sign-up at 8:30 PM and the mic starting at 9 PM, hosted by Jarrel Newsome [s1]. This rests on a single listing site that does not itself verify submissions.
Weekly on Wednesdays, 8:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
An event listing site shows a dated instance in July 2025 on a Wednesday [s1]. The same listing site shows another dated instance in April 2026, titled 'Open Mic and Roast Battle V,' also on a Wednesday, suggesting a competitive format that may differ from a plain weekly sign-up mic [s2]. The venue's own homepage, fully checked, does not mention an open mic or comedy anywhere [s3]. Its own calendar page shows the same absence [s4].
The venue's own events page, checked Aug 15, 2026, lists 'Open 2 Mics' for both an August and a September 2026 Sunday, each with its own separate caption rather than repeated boilerplate [s1].
Monthly on a Sunday, 3:00 PM; no source says which week.
Call ahead before you go
The organization's own page, checked Aug 15, 2026, describes a monthly Sunday gathering with an open-mic and critique component, and cites a specific past instance on Sept 22, 2024 matching that pattern [s1].
Weekly on Tuesdays, 8:30 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
The venue's own live calendar, filtered to its Open Mic category, shows no events for August 2026 [s1]. The same calendar filtered to Comedy shows the same [s2]. An open-mic listing site currently lists a weekly Tuesday open mic, 8:30–10 PM, but marks that listing as unverified [s3]. The venue's own page from 2022 had called the event a Comedy Open Mic, a type not confirmed by anything current [s4].
Weekly on Sundays, 8:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
An open-mic listing site's regional directory, checked in full, lists only a Tuesday event at Luckey's Club, not this Sunday one [s1]. The venue's own live calendar, filtered to its Open Mic category, is empty for August 2026 [s2]. The Sunday claim rests entirely on a separate open-mic listing site; no evidence was found that the event has ended either.
Weekly on Wednesdays, 7:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
The venue's own homepage, fully checked, does not mention an open mic or music programming [s1]. Its own events page shows the same absence [s2]. A regional open-mic directory does not list this venue at all [s4]. The claim rests only on a separate open-mic listing site; no evidence was found that the event has ended either.
Weekly on Thursdays, 7:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
The venue's own homepage, fully checked, confirms an 'Open Mic Night' heading and a linked flyer image, so the event exists, but the page does not itself name Thursday anywhere [s1]. The flyer image could not be read for a day or time, and no other source was found confirming Thursday specifically.
Sources mention Saturdays but are not confirmed; actual night is unclear.

The sources disagree on the night.
A comedy listing site's detailed calendar for this venue shows a differently named, differently formatted comedy show with limited sign-up on some Saturdays, roughly monthly, but not a 4 PM music open mic [s1]. Since that listing only covers comedy, its silence about a music event is not strong evidence either way; the claim of a music open mic here rests on an open-mic listing site alone.
A listing on laughspdx.com lists this night, but may not be current.
Weekly on Saturdays, 10:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
A comedy listing site's venue calendar (checked Aug 15, 2026) shows 'Covert Cafe Mic' scheduled every Saturday from Aug 22 through at least Nov 7, 2026, with only the single Aug 15, 2026 date marked cancelled [s1]. No venue-operated website was found. No social-media page was found either. This rests on one listing site that does not itself verify submissions.
A listing on laughspdx.com lists this night, but may not be current.
Weekly on Tuesdays, 9:30 PM. Something about this has changed recently — confirm before going.
A comedy listing site's page for this series, checked Aug 15, 2026, gives an upcoming instance for Tuesday, Aug 18, 2026, starting at 9:30 PM, hosted by Kellie Irwin, with sign-up by direct message and no posted walk-in time [s1]. This corrects an earlier listing of the same night that had given a 7:00 PM start, a 6:45 PM sign-up, and a different host, details that appear to belong to a different venue's mic on the same page.
Thursdays, 10:00 PM. How often is unclear. The Venue's Website does not mention it.

The venue's events page suggests it may have ended.
The venue's own events archive lists booked, multi-week Thursday theatrical runs, for example Aug 18 through Sep 5, 2026, doors 6:30 PM and show at 7:00 PM, plus a separate 'first three Thursdays and fourth Friday' pattern, but nothing on the page names an open sign-up mic specifically [s1]. Whether an open mic runs here remains unconfirmed in either direction.
The venue's own page for this event, checked Aug 15, 2026, describes it as Fridays at midnight, hosted by Matt Franco, with in-person sign-up at 11:30 PM [s1]. Archived copies of that page from Feb, Apr, and May 2026 show the same description each time, evidence it is a real, regularly updated page rather than one that never changes [s2].
