Open Mics in San Juan, PR

The sources give the same night and time, but none confirms recent activity.

No readable source confirms a Friday open mic at El Ensayo Café-Teatro-Bar (checked Aug 15, 2026). The only basis is an open-mic listing site, which alone cannot establish the event [s1]. The venue's Facebook and Instagram pages could not be read, and no archived copies exist. A news site shows the venue books ticketed theater and music shows, which neither confirms nor rules out a separate Friday open mic [s5].

A named outlet's website describes a Saturday plenazo at La Casa de la Plena Tito Matos, dated Aug 4, 2026 [s1]. The organization's partner site describes only a separate Wednesday class series and neither confirms nor denies the Saturday plenazo (checked Aug 15, 2026) [s2].

A ticketing site's own listing shows Miércoles de Risas Open Mic running weekly from Apr 8 to Dec 16, 2026, with its next session on Wednesday, Aug 19, 2026 (checked Aug 15, 2026) [s1]. The same listing shows the organizer has hosted 152 past events over two years with 592 total attendees [s1].

The venue's events page lists this night, but may not be current.

Weekly on Tuesdays, 7:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
