The Venue's Website could not be read [s3]. A review site shows reviews current to mid-2026 [s4]. Other sources describe the cafe as an operating business, but none mentions an open mic. The cafe's listed Friday hours end at 7 PM, exactly when the claimed open mic would start, an unresolved timing conflict. The event was named by an open-mic listing site [s1].

The venue is clearly still open, but which night hosts an open mic is unclear. An open-mic listing site says Sunday at 8:30 PM (checked Aug 14, 2026) [s1]. An old page from the Venue's Website, from 2023, suggested Monday instead [s2]. The Venue's Website could not be read again (checked Aug 31, 2026) [s3]. Another site was also unreadable [s4]. The contradiction is unresolved.
Weekly on Tuesdays, 6:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
Whether this location is still open is unresolved. One review site lists it as 'CLOSED, updated August 2026' [s2]. Another review site's listing for the same address, updated July 2026, carries no closed tag [s4]. This is a duplicate-listing pattern seen elsewhere. The brewing company's own store-locator page (checked Aug 31, 2026) doesn't list this address [s3]. An open-mic listing site names the open mic [s1].

A news article dated March 12, 2026, about five months before the Aug 31, 2026 check, describes this open mic and names its organizer and format [s1]. A later check of the same site found nothing newer [s2]. The article does not give a weekday. The Tuesday day comes from an open-mic listing site [s3]. The frequency is not confirmed. The venue's Instagram could not be checked [s4].
A listing on badslava.com lists this night, but may not be current.

A broader search found no mention of a Wednesday open mic at all -- results describe only the bar's well-known 'Deja Vu Thursdays' night and its general dive-bar character. No dedicated Venue's Website exists to check further. An open-mic listing site is the source of this claim [s1]. No independent corroboration was found in either direction.
An open-mic listing site claims 'Open Mic Night on Sunday at 7 p.m.' [s1]. A duplicate page on the same site repeats it, adding no new confirmation [s2]. A karaoke-focused listing site doesn't mention this event. The Venue's Website could not be read [s3]. A tourism site describes the venue generally, without naming the event [s4].
The Venue's Website, last updated Feb 27, 2026, describes an ongoing, named program -- the Anchorage Concert Association's 'Community Cafe' -- running the first Wednesday of every month from 6:00 to 7:30 PM [s1]. That page is about six months old as of Aug 31, 2026, within the expected window for a monthly program. An open-mic listing site names this venue as well [s2].
Sources mention Mondays but are not confirmed; actual night is unclear. Only one source reports it.

An open-mic listing site claims a Monday 8 PM open mic here [s1]. The venue's own schedule page could not be read [s2]. Other unconfirmed information describes Sunday 9 PM as the actual open mic, a Tuesday 7:30 PM 'Open Jam,' and Monday as a booked live-music night hosted by Jay Straw. This could not be confirmed by a source that could be read directly, so the claimed day may be wrong. A related listing site was also unreadable [s3].
