Open Mics in Nome, AK

A page on nomenugget.com lists this event, but may not be current.

Occasional. The Venue's Website has gone offline since we found this.

Other news coverage documents this event running in November 2017 and 2018. A news article confirms it ran again in November 2022 [s1]. The 2022 instance came two months after a typhoon destroyed a sister event's venue, suggesting this one is more resilient. Nothing newer than 2022 appears in that outlet's own archive [s2]. For a once-a-year event, that is too old to call it active, but nothing shows it has stopped.

The sources disagree on the night.

A listing for this open mic contradicts itself: it lists the day as Friday, while its own description reads 'Tonight & Every Thursday Night' (checked Aug 15, 2026) [s1]. That page's listed date also resets to the day it's viewed, so it isn't proof of anything current. A tourism site's business listing describes the saloon's regular entertainment as poker, karaoke, pool and dance nights, with no mention of an open mic [s2].
