The venue's own events page carries multiple upcoming instances of Open Mic Night with host Bryan Smith, confirming it runs the first Wednesday of each month, 7 to 10 PM with 6:30 PM sign-up (checked Aug 13, 2026) [s1]. This corrects an earlier claim that the mic was weekly.

Birchwood Canopy is a real rooftop cocktail bar atop The Birchwood hotel. The hotel's own detailed 'About Birchwood Canopy' page, fully checked Aug 13, 2026, does not mention an open mic [s1]. No other source describes anything here beyond generic live music. The evidence for this open mic is weaker than usual.

The Venue's Website carries multiple upcoming instances explicitly stating ‘Jake's Open Jam’ runs every last Tuesday of the month, 7:30 to 10:30 PM (checked Aug 13, 2026) [s1]. This replaces an earlier claim of a weekly Wednesday jam.

The Venue's Website, fully checked Aug 13, 2026, describes its regular entertainment as karaoke, trivia, bands, and good vibes seven days a week, and never mentions an open mic [s1]. This looks like a listing site mistakenly tagging a karaoke and trivia venue as an open-mic venue, though whether the claimed open mic is actually a karaoke night could not be confirmed.

Cool Vibes Pub and Grub is a real, operating sports-bar-style pub. Its own events page, checked Aug 13, 2026, does not mention an open mic [s1]. The page is small enough that some dynamically loaded content may be missing. No corroboration was found; the day, time, and event type rest on an open-mic listing site alone.

The Venue's Website's structured event data confirms ‘Open Jam Mic Night’ every Wednesday 7 to 10 PM on the Patio, with upcoming instances through at least Sep 2, 2026 (checked Aug 14, 2026) [s1].

The venue's events page lists this event, but may not be current.

Occasional.

Imagine Museum periodically hosts an evening Poetry Open Mic with rotating guest hosts. The venue's own event page shows one instance on Jan 30, 2025, hosted by Michelle Klettke [s1]. Another dated instance, on Apr 21, 2026, hosted by Pedro el Poeta, followed 15 months later. This looks like an ongoing but irregular series, not a fixed schedule; the latest confirmed instance is about four months old as of Aug 14, 2026.

The Venue's Website's current description names 'open mic jams' as part of its regular programming alongside live music, trivia, karaoke, and DJ nights (checked Aug 13, 2026) [s1]. The specific Thursday 7 PM time comes from an earlier listing that was not reconfirmed here.

Spitfire Comedy House genuinely runs open-mic-style comedy nights as part of its regular programming, per an outside description, but the specific Wednesday slot could not be pinned to any page. The venue's own now-playing page does not mention 'open mic' (checked Aug 14, 2026) [s1]. Its tickets page shows the same absence.

The sources disagree on the night.

An open-mic listing site lists this open mic as Thursday 8 PM, while a separate outside description instead describes an open mic night on Mondays. Neither claim comes from the venue's own booking system, and as of Aug 14, 2026 it remains undetermined which day is correct.

A review on tripadvisor.com lists this night, but may not be current.

The Ale and the Witch is a real craft-beer taproom with live local music nightly. Another source states its open mic runs Wednesdays, though it carries no date. A review site's review, headlined 'Bring your instrument!', fits an open-signup format but also carries no date [s1]. The venue's own about page frames its offering as a 'Live Concert Schedule' without using 'open mic' — ambiguous, not a clean negative.

Another source describes a weekly Monday Jazz Jam at The Hangar Restaurant, matching the original claim. The venue's own homepage, fully checked Aug 13, 2026, mentions neither an open mic nor jazz anywhere [s1]. That counts against the claim despite the outside description.

The venue's own event page, date-stamped for an Aug 22, 2026 instance, confirms the Poetry Open Mic hosted by Keep St. Pete Lit runs the last Wednesday of each month, $5 at the door (checked Aug 13, 2026) [s1]. A local news site's event listing corroborates it [s2]. An arts magazine feature corroborates it as well [s3].

The Venue's Website, fully checked Aug 13, 2026, names its weekly programming explicitly — Trivia Tuesdays, Wine Down Wednesdays, Date Night Thursdays, plus monthly tastings, live music, and karaoke — and never mentions an open mic [s1]. This looks like a listing site mistakenly tagging a wine-special night as an open mic.
