Open Mics in Beaumont, TX

A page on openmichouston.com lists this night, but may not be current.

The venue itself is confirmed real and currently operating. The specific Friday poetry open-mic claim rests entirely on an open-mic listing site [s1]. That listing's date shows Aug 14, 2026 — the same day it was checked — rather than a real event date, so it does not count as a dated confirmation. A downtown cultural-district events page for the area was also checked and did not show a specific open-mic-poetry listing.

The Venue's Website, checked Aug 15, 2026, shows upcoming instances on Aug 19 and Aug 26, 2026, both at 8:00 PM [s1]. The venue's own words say it has been 'hosting Open Mic every Wednesday since 1999.'
