Weekly on Mondays, 8:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
A social media post titled 'Monday Night Open Mic at 1877 On The Strand' corroborates the day, but the post itself carries no confirmed posting date — only a date when it was looked at, which is not the same thing. The venue's own domain still fails to resolve.
The Venue's Website lists this night, but may not be current.
The Venue's Website is real and current but never mentions 'open mic' anywhere in its general pages [s1]. Its own navigation names a distinct program, 'Jammin at the Gallery,' directly relevant to this listing, but that specific page could not be reached under any address tried, so it has never actually been read.

Weekly on Tuesdays, 7:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
Other listings describe a long-running open mic or jam series here across multiple years, including one from around Nov 2025 — stronger than a single listing site alone. That instance is about nine months old as of Aug 15, 2026, at the edge of what would support a weekly event, and none of the dated mentions match the Tuesday 7:00 PM time given elsewhere. The venue's own domain fails to resolve.
Weekly on Fridays, 6:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
The Venue's Website was checked again but turned out to show no readable text at all without running extra code, so it never actually showed anything about an open mic, positive or negative [s1]. Other listings describe only general live entertainment and wine tastings here, nothing open-mic-specific.
Every other Wednesday, 7:00 PM; which weeks is unclear. Only one source reports it.
Call to confirm the night

A social media post title corroborates that this format existed at some point, but the post itself could not be read directly and carries no confirmed date. The day, time, and frequency of this event are known only from an open-mic listing site.

Weekly on Thursdays, 7:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
The Venue's Website was checked Aug 15, 2026, but it loaded too little text to confirm whether an open mic is mentioned one way or the other, so nothing here confirms or rules out the Thursday event.
Weekly on Saturdays, 2:00 PM. The Venue's Website does not mention it.
The Venue's Website, checked Aug 15, 2026, shows updates through October 2025 but omits the words 'mic,' 'Saturday,' and 'perform' [s1]. A crowdfunding page once read 'Save Nifany's Open Mic's! Support live music in Galveston, Texas,' but could not be reloaded to confirm the wording or find a date [s2]. That could mean the mic is under threat or that it was still running when posted; without a date, it settles nothing either way.

Weekly on Sundays, 6:00 PM. Only one source reports it.
Old Galveston Club (418 21st Street) and Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe, an open-mic venue with a similar name at 413 20th St, are confirmed as distinct businesses (checked Aug 15, 2026). No other listing describes an open mic at Old Galveston Club; other listings describe it only generically, for cocktails and weekend live music. Whether it runs a weekly Sunday open mic or the conflicting monthly Wednesday date elsewhere remains unresolved.
A date once shown for this event on the Venue's Website actually belongs to a different, booked touring act, not the open mic [s2]. The venue's own FAQ page, checked Aug 15, 2026, states directly that 'Songwriter nights (Open Mic) start at 7pm,' distinct from ticketed shows [s1]. A separately sourced schedule instead gives 8:00 PM; that time contradiction is left standing, not resolved.

As of Aug 15, 2026, no other source mentions an open mic at the venue; other mentions describe only a pool tournament and free-pool Wednesdays. The Venue's Website still fails to load, so its silence is unreached, not confirmed, evidence.
The venue's own calendar system, checked Aug 15, 2026, shows a upcoming 'Singer/Songwriter Night' instance on Sep 15, 2026, at 10:00 PM [s1]. The event is confirmed running, but it is described as a single hosted set by Austin Gaston rather than explicitly an open sign-up list, so whether it qualifies as an open mic is unresolved.
